Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park is a popular hiking destination known for its stunning alpine scenery. The trail to Emerald Lake is a moderately challenging, out-and-back hike of about 3.6 miles roundtrip from the Bear Lake Trailhead. It's a beautiful hike year-round, offering views of Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, and finally Emerald Lake, with Flattop Mountain towering above
